Job Description

An employer in Phoenix, AZ is looking for 3 Software Engineers to join their Payment Services team. This team focuses on the applications and payment devices offered to customers. They are looking for Engineers to join their team to help with their current applications and help in the API space. This role will focus on the business applications, manufacturing applications working directly with Java, Vortex, and in-house data platform and databases. This role is heavy development, so it is important that these Engineers feel comfortable in their Java/J2EE coding capabilities and are comfortable working in a fast paced environment.

Minimum Requirements

-5+ years of Software Development experience in a professional environment.

-Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.

-Design and development experience using Java, J2EE and hands on expertise with automated testing.

-Excellent experience with RESTful API development, cloud integration and development.

-Familiar with Agile or other rapid application development methods.

-Working knowledge of data tools such as SQL, using RDBMS such as Oracle, MySQL, Postgres, NoSQL (Couchbase/Cassandra/Mongo).

-Good debugging/RCA skills.

-Hands on with JUnits and performance testing frameworks such as Jmeter, gattling, etc.

-Familiar with DevOps tool chains like Git, Jira, Jenkins, XL Release, Nexus, Artifcatory.

Desired Skills

-Experience in Java Frameworks such as SprintBoot and Vert.X

-Knowledge of open source integration framework Apache Camel

-Knowledge of Node.Js and React.Js

Tasks

Supervise and assign work to programmers, designers, technologists, technicians, or other engineering or scientific personnel.
Advise customer about or perform maintenance of software system.
Train users to use new or modified equipment.
Specify power supply requirements and configuration.
Evaluate factors such as reporting formats required, cost constraints, or need for security restrictions to determine hardware configuration.
Use microcontrollers to develop control signals, implement control algorithms, or measure process variables, such as temperatures, pressures, or positions.
Recommend purchase of equipment to control dust, temperature, or humidity in area of system installation.
