How To Move Apps To Sd Card On My G6 Phone
-
As the title says, how do I move my apps (games) and pictures to the external (removable) SD card AND how do I make the SD card the default storage location for new apps (games) and pictures? I can manually do this with the Z-Camera but I don't see how to do the same with the "normal" camera.
Any help would be appreciated as I'm quickly running out of space in the 32gb internal storage.

You move (partially) apps that are able to be moved by using Settings, Apps, Storage. If the option for external storage is there you can use it, if not...
You can't make an SD card default storage for new apps and games. You can set the camera to use the SD as default if your app supports it.

Thanks. So, I can get one of the cameras (Z-Camera) to use the SD card but the other camera (just Camera?) won't. How can I move all of my pics (taken by either camera, downloaded, screenshots, etc) to the SD card?
(The TINY amount of internal storage was what almost kept me from buying the G6.)

Respectfully, 32 GB storage is just insufficient. Particularly as external storage is quirky and has too many limitations.

With a file manager app, but you'll have to be careful with the folder structure and naming conventions.

Can you elaborate, please?

Photos are usually in a DCIM folder. Screenshots can be in a subfolder "Screenshots" of DCIM or a sub of Camera. Those download can be in either DCIM or Camera, or something you make under DCIM. Look at your phone's folder structure and duplicate it, you should be okay.

Duplicate it how? For some reason, I have pics in BOTH the sub folder under External SD > DCIM > Camera AND SD Card (which I assume is the internal memory) > DCIM > Camera. I just want all of them on the external SD. Can I drag/drop the ones on the "SD Card" to the "External SD" (assuming they go in the same DCIM > Camera folder)? I don't mind a little bit of experimenting with some pics I no longer care about but I don't want to jack up my phone (or the microSD card). What about videos I've taken with the phone? If I transfer those to the microSD card, I can save a bunch of space on the internal memory.
